THE MATTER
My palette is the “Matter”. Instead of using the color use the material. What is it the material can replace the color in?
The color itself, often layered over time.
The fiber of the wood that makes intuit the structure that composes.
The Signs and the time, scratch, signs, graffiti and the slow degradation of the material that is consumed in ever-smaller fragments so as to evaporate or liquefy.
In this series of works “Debris”, natural elements, with their multiple forms, prevail over other parts of creation and establish a dialogue between nature and artifice.
